How to use CinemaDigest

1. Create an account

Sign up with your email and a password (at least 8 characters). You’ll get a verification email. Free accounts can plan a limited number of recaps per month.

2. Choose a plan

Any account can download the desktop app. Free accounts receive three recap jobs per month; Creator unlocks unlimited standard recaps, while Pro adds batch processing and multilingual recap translation.

3. Download & install the desktop app

Once you’re signed in, the download button appears. Install the app; it prepares the required processing components on first run. Your films remain on your device.

4. Sign in on the desktop app

Open CinemaDigest, go to the CinemaDigest Account section, enter the service URL (https://movierecapper.com), your email and password, and click Sign in. Planning is handled securely for you.

5. Make a recap

Add your video, choose recap settings (duration, pacing, method, language/voice), and start processing. The app transcribes, plans, narrates, and renders locally. A detailed walkthrough is in the desktop manual.

6. Desktop app only

The in-browser planner has been retired. All recap creation now runs in the desktop app for professional narration, animated captions, soundtrack, and 4K output. Download for free.
